The national parks are administered by the Department of Conservation (DOC) that has its headquarters and visitor centers in every park. Most of these parks are located just a few minutes away from the major cities and all public transport has easy access to them. Camping is also allowed in all the parks; however, speak to the park service about designated camping areas.
